Join AITP for an exciting event as we combine our monthly luncheon with HTCA's annual conference, Technology: A Path to Hawaii's Economic Sustainability.

Opening the conference will be Senator Carol Fukunaga who will speak about her leadership role in legislative efforts on Hawaii's path to diversification, Act 221, 2010 Tech Caucus, and the Act 148 Innovation Initiative. Followed by AITP's luncheon speaker, Anton C. Krucky, President and CIO of Tissue Genesis Inc. Anton will adress his role as an investor, entrepreneur and his own experiences growing a technology company. Finally, Jay Fidell, the keynote speaker will address the private sector's perspective on industry diversification and the tech sector's role in Hawaii's economic development.

The Conference will also provide attendees with a unique blend of informative presentations, panel discussions, breakout sessions, and vendor technology solutions.

Panel Discussions
Burt Lum of Bytemarks will moderate a panel with Iam Kitajima (Oceanit), Darren Kimura (Sopogy), and Dan Leuck (Ikayzo) to discuss their experiences in starting and opertating technology-based businesses, and what is required to better provide incentives to start or grow tech sector companies.
