Privacy in the Cloud - Impact on Business
More and more organizations are looking at cloud computing as a way to reduce their overhead costs and more easily scale their business operations. However, moving to the cloud has some inherent risks, chief of which is privacy (or lack thereof) risk.
The session will start with a high level review of "cloud computing" concepts, the impact of cloud computing from a privacy perspective, potential challenges to organizations that adopt cloud computing and potential ways to address these challenges.
The session will also cover the role of internal and external auditors, as their organizations are entering the cloud. The session will conclude with a Q&A session on various practical issues that have arisen in this process.
This seminar is good for one CPE credit.
